Summer School 2007

Junior Band members and several beginners spent two days at the Band Hall preparing for a concert on Friday evening.  The course was a great success with several new members taking part in the Concert even though they had only been playing a few days.

The concert consisted of some new Junior Band pieces and the beginners playing in their first concert with the band.  The audience, made up of parents and supporters, were treated to 30 minutes of music from both juniors and beginners.

Following the concert the juniors were treated to a barbeque. 

This was the final event of the summer of for the juniors who will return in September to start the hard work of preparing for concerts and contests.
