Music, Lights and Video at Ebbw Vale

The Blaenavon Town Band performed a Gala Concert at Coleg Gwent Ebbw Vale Campus tonight.  The Concert was enhanced by Light and Video Displays that complemented the music.  MD Lyndon Price is a music lecturer at Coleg Gwent and was able to assist his Music Performance Students to organise the concert.  Special lighting and a video backdrop were also used.

The programme included Batman the Movie with sirens and the Bat Spotlight motif, Ticket to Ride was accompanied by a video of Thomas the Tank Engine and The marches were given the 'Animal House' treatment.

The concert had three aims; to re-Launch Ebbw Vale Campus as a concert venue, to give the music students experience of putting on and delivering a concert and to raise funds for the bands trip to Harrogate.

The Band and Audience were very impressed with the standard of production that the students provided and we would like to thanks the students, lecturers and staff of Ebbw Vale Campus for providing a very memorable evening for band and audience.
