Fourth at the Eisteddfod

Despite what we thought was a decent performance the band was placed fourth at this years National Eisteddfod held in Cardiff.  The programme opened with Lionheart by Philip Harper and continued with Share My Yoke with Cornet Soloist Lucinda Gough.  The finale was provided by Gaelforce.

Apart from the result, MD Lyndon Price was very pleased with the bands performance of a very difficult programme.

After the performance the band made good use of the facilities within the Maes especially the hospitality tents.

The Section was won by Goodwick Band with Ynyshir Second and City of Cardiff Band third.

There we three debutantes at this competition and each had to undergo the usual initiation process.
