Lucy, Chris and Lauren Pick Up Gongs

The annual Junior Band Awards were celebrated tonight.  The Bandroom was full of parents and families to listen to a short concert from the Junior Band and the Learners Group.  This was the first time that the Junior Awards had been presented in a separate ceremony from the Senior Band and was a great success. The Chairman, Lynn Davies made a short speech and the awards were presented by Junior Tutor Evan Smith.

Best Learner / Most Improved Player was awarded to Lauren James who has been playing for years but has now started to fulfil here potential.

Junior Bandsperson of the year was a tie between Christopher Harding and Lucy Day for there dedication and great attitude to the band.

All the winners received a special trophy to keep and the Annual Trophy that they can keep for one year.
