Blaenavon Town Band Martin Adams

Martin 'Statto' Adams, Bass Trombone.

Martin is a very experienced player, having played in Championship section with the Markham Colliery Band under Don Hendy from 1973 until 1990. He joined Blaenavon Town in 1997 having previously being with Newbridge Celynen.

Martin is a big Gilbert Vinter fan, his favourite test piece being John O'Gaunt. Unfortunately there is not enough room on this site to list the pieces Martin doesn't like!

Nicknamed 'Statto', Martin can usually recall every test piece he has ever played, the section, year and adjudicator.  Martin doesn't get out much!
