17th out of 19

The band came 17th at the National Finals 3rd Section held in Harrogate. The performance of Suite for Brass never quite reached the standards that we had achieved in rehearsals and the Adjudicators were quick to pick this up and slaughter us for ensemble, balance and tuning.  The website 4 Bars Rest were less critical and seemed to like the performance.

However, despite the result the band enjoyed a great weekend in Yorkshire and now look forward to the Ammanford Contest next Saturday.

Congratulations to Gareth Ritter and his City of Cardiff Band who came third.
