Blaenavon Town Band Tracey Dredge

Tracey Dredge, Euphonium.

Tracey joined the band in January 2004 having previously played for Pontypool and Crosskeys.  She started playing at the age of ten but didn't really get started until she joined the Crosskeys Youth Band and then entered the Gwent Youth Band at the age of 14. At 16 she gave up banding in order to pursue her career. 

In 1995 she started banding again with Crosskeys Silver playing 2nd Baritone finally progressing onto 1st Euphonium.  In 2002 she left Crosskeys and joined Pontypool where she stayed for 2 years and she is now 2nd Euphonium with Blaenavon Town Band.

Favourite test piece is Dean Goffins Rhapsody in Brass and least favourite are Indian Summer and Four Little Maids.
